The main difficulty when you start with Geology is the fact that very little (if any) of it has been taught to you until this point, unlike with Physics, Chemistry and BIology. The only likley exception is represented by Plate Tectonics, which is why this task focuses on that aspect of Geology. During the course, we will build your knowledge from the base up, and we will eventually revisit Plate Tectonics (and the subject of this task) with a much better understanding of all of the underlying processes involved. Download the specific explanation of what is required from the link provided and bring your work with you on your first lesson. Your work should be neatly presented on A4 paper with your FULL NAME, the date and the title at the top. You will have a short TEST on the content of this work during your first lesson. Use the PDF files included, the links to websites and the youtube videos provided as a non-exhaustive list of information sources.
