Success for the Class of 2020

More students take A-Levels at Priestley than anywhere else in Warrington and on results day in 2020 there was lots to celebrate. Below you can read about and hear from some of the students as they reacted on the day. We were proud to have played a part in their story and support them as they headed off to university, apprenticeships and employment.

Jordan earned A*s in Chemistry and Maths and an A in Physics – the exact grades in the same subjects as his good friend Damian Dooley who he met at Priestley. Damian added an A* in the Extended Project while Jordan secured another A.

On results day Jordan accepted a place at the University of Warwick studying Maths. Speaking about the friendship he struck up with Damian during his time at Priestley he said: “We met on the starter day and then again on our first, we’ve been friends ever since.”

Vocational students were also celebrating in 2020. Many took extended qualifications while others combined Vocational courses with A-Levels.
